EURO-KEP to Be Featured at the EKITA Symposium in Prague

The Living Donation Kidney Transplantation Specialty Symposium, organized by EKITA (European Kidney Transplant Association), will take place on 7–8 November 2025 in Prague.

One of the key sessions, Session 4, will focus on strengthening collaboration and advancing living kidney donation across Europe. Chaired by Lorna Marson and Christina Papachristou, this session will bring together leading experts to discuss how to ensure equitable access to transplantation for all patients.

A highlight of the session will be a presentation by Beatriz Domínguez-Gil (ONT, Spain), titled “Expanding Kidney Paired Exchange in Europe: EURO-KEP.” The talk will explore how the EURO-KEP initiative aims to expand kidney paired exchange programs across Europe, promoting cross-border cooperation and improving fairness in access to life-saving transplantation.

This event will be an excellent opportunity for the transplant community to exchange experiences and discuss strategies for building a more equitable and collaborative European transplant system.
