Hungary’s new kidney paired exchange regulation boosts EURO-KEP project goals

Hungary has amended its regulations on living donor kidney paired exchange, enabling exchanges among multiple donor–recipient pairs, allowing surgeries in more than one transplant center, and opening participation to all pairs, not only those medically incompatible. As a contracted partner of the EURO-KEP project, the Hungarian National Blood Transfusion Service (HNBTS) highlights that these changes directly support the project’s objectives and represent significant progress in consortium work.  More information: https://www.ovsz.hu/en/news/press-release-0
